About This Course

This course is designed to provide an immersive experience in Indonesian cuisine, highlighting the diversity and richness of its culinary traditions. Participants will learn to prepare regional specialties, master the art of sambals, explore popular street foods, and create indulgent desserts. Each session offers hands-on cooking, cultural insights, and detailed recipes.

Our workshop is a 4-hour session, running from 9 AM to 1 PM. Please browse the list of workshops below.

 

a) Workshop on 5 Oct 2024 on Regional Specialties. This session will be preparing the following:
– Nasi Liwet Bandung
– Mutton Rendang (Minangkabau)
– Klepon

 

b) Workshop on 19 Oct 2024 on Sambal Sensations: Exploring Chilli Pastes. This session will be preparing the following:
– Sambal Terasi
– Sambal Ijo
– Sambal Uleg
– Sambal Nenas
– Sambal Tempoyak

 

c) Workshop on 29 Oct 2024 on Streetside Bites: Indonesian Street Eats. This session will be preparing the following:
– Rujak Uleg
– Karedok
– Asinan Bogor

 

d) Workshop on 9 Nov 2024 on Indulgent Sweets: Delightful Desserts. This session will be preparing the following:
– Martabak Manis
– Serabi Bogor

 

e) Workshop on 13 Nov 2024 on Sweet Temptations: Indonesian Dessert Delights. This session will be preparing the following:
Bubur Sago Durian
– Es Teler

* In accordance with the Budget 2022 announcement, the GST rate will be increased from:

(i) 7% to 8% with effect from 1 Jan 2023; and

(ii) 8% to 9% with effect from 1 Jan 2024.
